Hyper Hammers

All Bulroc Hyper Hammers can be easily adapted to accept different types of bit shanks by simply changing a few basic components. Several Hyper hammer models are available in Heavy-Duty format to suit particularly arduous and abrasive drilling conditions. The models have increased diameter chuck, wearsleeve and backhead for greater wear protection

Valved Type Hammers

Designed for high performance at low operating pressures. Simplicity of design, ease of service and low air consumption are all factors that combine to make these hammers robust and reliable drilling tools. They are particularly suited to applications where air volumes and pressures are limited and where low weight is an important factor. Seismic Shot Hole Drilling, Slope Stabilization and other applications where access is limited depend on this small but versatile range of hammers.

Bulroc drill tubes

Produced from high quality seamless pipe and designed to the highest standards using the thinnest wall section material but without the loss of the necessary strength to give the closest ratio of weight to durability. Tool joints of high alloy steel are nitrited to provide a hardwearing surface for longer thread life. All Bulroc drill tubes are friction welded to give the strongest and most consistent form of welding to ensure long life and dependability.

Thread protectors are fitted to both pin and box ends of all Bulroc drill tubes that are finished with a protective surface coating. Bulroc also produce Combined Cased Drill Tubes which are required when drilling large diameter holes with relatively small diameter drill tubes, using air as a flushing medium.

Button Bits

Suit many popular makes of Down Hole Hammers. Sizes range from 60mm through to 1,100mm. Bulroc Button Bits are available in several head styles to suit particular drilling conditions. Tungsten carbide button inserts are available in either Hemispherical or Parabolic (Semi-Ballistic) form and Button Bits can be fitted with either type or a combination of both.

Concentric Overburden Drilling Systems

For the continuous casing of medium to large diameter holes - up to 850mm diameter. Excellent performance for drilling through loose overburden materials down into solid bedrock. At the start of the drilling operation, the segments are in the closed position to allow the system to pass through the lead casing and seat against the casing shoe. When drilling starts, the segments swing out to drill the hole to the desired diameter. The machines can be withdrawn through the casing by rotating the System anti-clockwise against the solid base of the hole or up against the casing shoe.

Eccentric Overburden Drilling System

For smaller hole sizes, Bulroc produces the ODS "Eccentric" Overburden Drilling System, starting with the ODS 90 to suit 114mm O/D casings. This two-piece system comprises the Shanked Bit Holder and the Eccentric Bit that is secured in the Bit Holder by a double Seeloc Pin. This is easily removed to allow for Bit re-sharpening or replacement. Bulroc Overburden drilling systems are widely used in a variety of applications from Well Drilling and Mini Piling to Rock Anchoring and Site Investigation.
